Who’s excited for game day?? I grew up in Massachusetts so having the Patriots represent this year makes it a little more exciting for me! My dad never missed a Super Bowl growing up. Our Super Bowl parties were epic and loud. But if I’m being totally honest, we aren’t huge football fans around here, sorry dad. However, we are major foodie fans and with the big game always comes an even bigger spread! Raise your hand if you are in it for the food (and commercials)? Chips, dips, wings, snacks and sweets galore. You can’t watch football without wings, its just unamerican. I brought this buffalo wing platter with clean blue cheese dressing to last years game day get together, it was such a hit I was asked to bring it again this year. It’s the perfect mix of clean and dirty which is key for pleasing a crowd!
We love blue cheese dressing and this cleaned up version of the classic does not disappoint! I’ve swapped out the usual sour cream with protein and probiotic packed greek yogurt for a rich and healthy twist! Feel free to leave it thick as a dip or thin it down with a little low fat milk for a dressing consistency. Either way your wings and waistline will thank you!
I swung by Whole Foods Market today and snagged a variety of pre-chopped veggies. They have a huge selection of pre-cut, chopped, spiralized and ready to eat fruits and vegetables. I’m a busy working mom of three, time is money, ain’t nobody got time for chopping! I also picked up their game day pre-cooked buffalo wings and they were delicious! Thanks to Whole Foods Market this platter took me under 30 minutes to throw together! Talk about a one stop shop!
These wings were finger licking good! Just be sure to have a stack of napkins on hand!
I love to add a few unexpected finger foods to the mix when I’m shopping for fixins. It always sparks conversation and makes for a fun dimension. Look for items that you wouldn’t normally think to add and ADD THEM. Whole Foods Market has a fun variety of hidden gems in their bulk section! Get creative!
My favorite snack platter underdogs…

Putting together snack platters and charcuterie has become a fun way for me to share my artistic side. They challenge my brain and the final result is always beautiful and rewarding!

Gently stir in the blue cheese, being careful not to break up the large chunks.
